Jesus we worship is not some phantasm of a deity. his religion is a weighty religion, and itimposes a weighty burden on its followers; the burden of pursuing, loving, living and proclaiming the truth.

We do not sell the gospel, no, truth is not a commodity, but we REASON and PERSUADE the truth to others, just as the Apostle did and exhorted us to do. But how can we handle Truth in such manner when we ourselves embraced a namby-pamby form of Christianity which does not as much emphasizes on the Truth than on ourselves. This is not the way of our religion...at least not for us who are given the priviledges to good education and resources. At least not for us who are endowed with a mind good enough to end us up in the Universities (thank God!)

And Pilate said to Jesus, "What is truth?" (John 18:38)

Jesus said, "I am the way,the truth and the life" (John 14:6)

Truth is not too petty that we may kick it around as we like, for the great God Himself is the Truth. Truth is not too lofty that we may not reach it, for God came to us that we may go to Him. Jesus said, "No one comes to the Father except through me. If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him." (John 14:6-7)

Respond to Robert Funk’s 21 Theses (The Coming Radical Reformation)
Theses 1.The God of the metaphysical age is dead. There is not a personal god out there external to human beings and the material world. We must reckon with a deep crisis in god talk and replace it with talk about whether the universe has meaning and whether human life has purpose.

Martin Luther, “Nowadays, I must suffer other thoughts from the devil. For he often casts in my teeth: ‘Oh, what a huge crowd of people you have led astray with your teaching!’”

Throughout his life, Martin...

It began with a vision- to see university students rise up to speak, to echo and to defend Truth, which is otherwise; dying among men and women of the present age.
